Nominations are open for the Commercial Motor Service to Industry Award 2019

Service to Industry award winners

In 2018 Cartwright Group chairman Peter Cartwright joined formerly marketing director at DAF Trucks Tony pain and Keltruck’s Chris Kelly snr as recipient of the Commercial Motor Service to Industry Award.

The judges singled out his lifelong commitment to the British road transport industry and his career of nearly 60 years, which has mirrored the success of the company that bares his name.

Cartwright himself said it was an “honour” and a “great surprise” to receive the Service to Industry Award in 2018: “Having grown up in the industry I have found it fascinating – it not only keeps me busy every day but I’m still learning.  In fact, I regard myself as Cartwright’s oldest apprentice! Engineering excellence and innovation is at the heart of everything we do and always has been. I look forward to seeing Cartwright grow even further in the coming years.”
