The UK’s largest commercial vehicle show has seen a packed agenda in its first two days, with a flurry of vehicle launches and announcements demonstrating confidence and buoyancy in the sector.

SDC Trailers opens new sales centre at Sutton-in-Ashfield

SDC Trailers has opened a sales centre at Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, (near junction 28 of the M1), which will process new trailer orders. Up to 20 sales, engineering and administration staff will be based in at the purpose-built sales centre, which consists of offices and a trailer showcase area where customers can view design options and completed builds.

Fords CV Show presence bigger than ever

Ford once again dominates the entrance to the CV Show, with an even bigger stand (5E10) than in previous years. A heavily revised line-up features on the stand, including the new Ranger, Ranger Raptor and two-tonne Transit van. There are some changes to the Transit Custom, while also on show are the Transit Courier, Transit Connect and Fiestavan, which are still all only one year old.
