Advanced Access Platforms has purchased a pair of Mercedes-Benz Arocs
London-based Advanced Access Platforms, which has 50 years of experience in powered access equipment hire, has purchased a pair of Mercedes-Benz Arocs 8x2s.
Supplied by Rygor, the rear-steer Sterling-bodied beavertails, have been fitted with full-width ramps to aid safe loading.
Other safety aids include steel grating on the ramp and mesh on the slope for increased grip, LED flashing beacons on the rear cross-member, rear corners of the body, front grille and cab roofs, a working-at-height fall arrest system, four cameras and nearside side-scan coupled with a left-turn audible warning.
Advanced Access Platforms MD John Corcoran, said: “This was the ideal solution to complement our fleet whilst remaining committed to FORS Gold and the Ultra Low Emission Scheme. The effort that Sterling and Rygor put into this deal was truly a service second to none, and we are now in discussion for more vehicles.”
