A new year and another great new issue of Commercial Motor. Here's why you should get yours today
By our estimations, it looks like 2019 will be a big year for new trucks. Pick up a copy of this week’s magazine and find out what new models will be coming from Iveco, MAN and Volvo. Could 2019 also be the year of a new Scania V8? It is the iconic engine’s 50th anniversary year, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
If a new truck doesn’t take your fancy, why not check out Scania’s new Bridgwater facility. As well as new workshop facilities, it will be hosting a new and improved selection of used trucks at the site. Pop in and take a look if you’re nearby or better still find your next truck in CM’s classified section. You’ll find hundreds of quality used trucks in the magazine and online.
Whether it’s a new or used truck you’re after, there’s a high probability it will come with a diesel engine, but should you consider something a little different? In this week’s issue we find out if hydrogen really will be the fuel of the future. There’s also the first in our great new series – From The Forecourt. We’ll be dropping in on truck dealers throughout the year and finding out how they got started in the business, the secret to a good business-customer relationship, and hearing their best joke – you don’t have to laugh, but we think you might. We start off the series with Keith Sims, the boss at HRVS.
Finally, but by no means last of all, we take a look at Sinotruck and how the Harris Group has grown this unknown Chinese truck brand into one of Ireland’s most popular trucks.
Pick-up a copy at a newsagent or motorway service area and find hundreds of great used truck deals, news and many more interesting industry stories.
