Tilbury-based PAV Haulage has purchased a pair of second hand Mercedes-Benz Actros 6x2s
PAV Haulage has purchased a pair of used Mercedes-Benz Actros BigSpce 2545 tractors from Motus Truck & Van.
Supplied under the Mercedes-Benz Certified banner, the three-year-old tractors have each covered approximately 300,000km. Like all Mercedes-Benz Certified trucks, they underwent an intensive, multi-point inspection at Mercedes’ Wentworth Park remarketing operation.
In total, eight of the Tilbury-based haulier’s 22-strong fleet have now been supplied used by Motus Truck & Van.
Dean Mills, a partner at PAV Haulage, said: “We’ve been extremely busy for some time now and continue to grow the customer portfolio. It’s essential, therefore, that our trucks don’t let us down, because unplanned downtime is an absolute killer.
“Whether we’ve acquired them from new or through Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ official used vehicle programme, our Actros have proved fantastically reliable, as well as being cost-effective to run and well-liked by the drivers.”
