LTS Global Solutions has marked its 25th anniversary with a new 26-tonne DAF XD.

Across the business, the Coleshill-based firm has invested more than £2.2m this year. As well as the new DAF, LTS has added a Volvo FH Globetrotter Aero, a Volvo FM Electric truck, and a Lawrence David trailer with a commemorative livery to its fleet. Two Linde E25 and E35 L electric forklift trucks are also new additions. Alongside fleet changes, the business has expanded into Hong Kong and plans to open offices in Dubai and India soon.

Dave Hands, managing director of LTS Global Solutions said: “LTS Global Solutions has enjoyed a long and eventful journey and is now at the dawn of a new and exciting chapter as we reach this exciting milestone. We have long operated in a world where global trade dynamics are forever shifting but by extending into Asia and the Middle East we are well positioned to meet the ever-increasing demands of international shipping and logistics services.”

In the UK, LTS Global Solutions is headquartered in Coleshill at a 133,000sq ft logistics centre. Its name stands for logistics, transport and shipping, illustrating the company’s key services. These functions are supported by a fleet of 60 commercial vehicles which all feature Euro-6 compliant engines.

LTS Global Solutions has partnered with Planet Mark to focus on reducing its carbon footprint. The company has been awarded Planet Mark business certification which recognises progress in reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions as well as key elements of Scope 3 emissions.

Founded in 1999, LTS Global Solutions has grown rapidly since its inception. In 2015, the business became part of The Pallet Network and launched its worldwide air, sea and road freight offering. A management buyout was arranged in 2020 and the company moved to new premises two years later.
