My favourite holiday destination is…

Unknown as of yet! I like to travel and, if I could, I would visit every corner of the world. I love to experience different cultures, eat different food and see amazing sights.

I drive a…

Mercedes-Benz E220.

My hobbies are…

Hiking and climbing. I purchased a Volkswagen T6 camper van that has helped me travel to places I wouldn’t normally visit. Getting out and about has also rekindled a passion I had years ago - birdwatching.

I got into the industry…

By default. In my early years I picked up certificates and licences to drive all sorts of vehicles including an HGV class 1, which led me to Henderson Mobile where I was given the opportunity to get into sales. I joined Paneltex in 2007 and remember my first visit, expecting to find a small business and me rehearsing how to decline a job offer. I was sold as soon as I went through the door and I wanted to work for this amazing company at any cost. We have continued to build a fantastic, proactive, well-loved business.

To encourage more young people into the industry we should…

Emphasise that it is an exciting industry that is evolving fast, so why would you want to do anything else?

The outlook for our sector of the market over the next 12 months is…

Unclear. Brexit has clouded it a bit, but so far, so good. Paneltex is looking strong and is focused on continued growth.
