Three years after taking delivery of its first of the most recent iteration of the Actros, MSL (Scotland) has transitioned its fleet to 100% Mercedes-Benz.

The latest three arrivals at the Broxburn, West Lothian-based operator, which has a fleet comprises nine tractors and four rigids, are all Actros 2545 tractor units with GigaSpace cabs.

Dave Sharp, director at MSL (Scotland), said of the shift to an all Mercedes fleet: “We’ve made this move not only because the Actros is extremely fuel-efficient and very popular with our drivers, but also because the back up from our local dealer Western Commercial is second to none.”

Over the past three years Actros units on the MSL (Scotland) fleet have averaged 9.9mpg.
