Andover Trailers has introduced a new generation of tri-axle step-frame trailers (pictured), intended to give operators increased levels of versatility from a single vehicle.

The step-frame machinery carrier (SFMC) is supplied with a standard king-pin to rear length of 11.9m riding on a choice of BPW or SAF axles with Knorr-Bremse brakes, and 17.5” or 19.5”wheels and tyres.

The standard trailer, which can provide a full length flat bed, has a tare weight of around 10 tonnes, giving a gross weight of 45 tonnes. This can be increased to 48 tonnes using optional slide-out extensions.

A wide variety of lashing points and tool boxes are provided as standard, with numerous options, including a safe working at height system, available to tailor the trailer to specific needs.
