HGV and specialist waste and recycling vehicle repairer ASM Truck Diagnostics has upped it’s workshop capabilities with a new set of mobile column lifts and a mobile brake tester from Totalkare.
Four new T8DC mobile column lifts have been installed at the site in Grays, Essex, with each cable-free lift capable of a 7,500kg load capacity.
The fully mobile brake tester can test up to 16,000kg per axle and comes with a tablet to allow tests to be carried out from the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Workers will be trained on the new equipment thanks to Totalkare’s online mobile column lift training which is CPD-certified and covers legislation, pre-use safety checks, controls and power isolation in order to allow them to operate the lifts safely.
“We’ve been using Totalkare mobile column lifts for several years and were always impressed with how easy they were to use and the quality of their service support,” said Toney Martin, director at ASM Truck Diagnostics.
“Following a sustained period of business growth, an investment in additional equipment was necessary to increase capacity and we’re delighted to add these to our busy workshop,” he added.
