Family-owned removals and storage business Bishop’s Move has recently put this stylish DAF CF 18-tonner into operation to celebrate 165 years of trading. The 290hp boxvan-bodied 4x2 bears a livery modelled on the company’s 1930s fleet and is one of 17 DAF trucks supplied on lease by Channel Commercials in Ashford, Kent.

It has a 6.9m wheelbase, a ZF manual gearbox, rear air suspension and a twin-sleeper Hi Roof cab conversion built by SBR Specialist Coachbuilders.

Based in Surbiton, Surrey, Bishop’s Move runs 150 vans and trucks and, given the generally low mileages involved, expects to run its new CF for around 10 years.
