Cardiff Self Storage has rebranded as Blue Self Storage ahead of new developments throughout Wales that it claims, are smart and affordable.

Commercial manager, Chris Bryan, said: “Owing to the ever-increasing demand for affordable vehicle storage, we’re incredibly excited to be changing our name to Blue Self Storage, to accommodate the demand and facilitate our upcoming national expansion.”

The 30 year old company has access to both the M4 and A48 through being based in Pwll-Mawr in between Cardiff and Newport. It’s open 24 hours also, which gives operators easy access to its trucks.

The vehicles are stored in Wentloog Corporate Park, before it issues letters to hauliers enquiring about whether they'd like an operators licence facility confirming fleet sizen and quantity of vehicles.

Blue Self stores HGVs, trailers, cranes and plant vehicles under 24/7 CCTV surveillance with free unlimited access all year. The cost to store a rigid is £5.40 per day, whereas an arctic costs £6.00 per day. Both prices include VAT.

Despite opening a new site in Llanishen, Cardiff in September, it’s unclear as to whether it will offer any HGV storage. Wentloog in the east of the Welsh capital will remain the location for business vehicle storage in South Wales.

“Going forward, our business vehicle customers just need to know that our name has changed. They can still expect a fantastic service, with the same friendly, familiar faces with 24/7 access and 24/7 security”, concluded Bryan.
