Continental has completed the roll out of its new tyre range with the launch of the Conti EcoPlus HT3+ trailer tyre.
The Conti EcoPlus tyre family now includes the Conti EcoPlus HS3+ steering axle tyre and Conti EcoPlus HD3+ drive axle tyre along with the new HT3+ which has been optimised for long distance transport with a low rolling resistance and improved mileage capabilities.
The EcoPlus HT3+ gets a 3PMSF marking, meaning it is suitable for all weathers including snow and ice and has an A-rating for wet grip.
Continental says its tyre’s two-layer construction and the improved rubber compounds for the tread and sidewall have enabled them to reduce rolling resistance and increase mileage with new Fuel Saving Edge technology and an optimised sipe pattern.
Pressure is said to be more evenly distributed across the entire tread, prventing one-sided wear or damage to the casing.
This will enable the tyre to be easily retreaded in later life.
