Continental Automotive will be showcasing several new products at this year’s CV Show, including the VDO Digital Tachograph 3.0, a pre-cursor to the company’s smart tacho due to be introduced in 2019.
It is the first time the product has been exhibited in the UK and Continental said its advantages include greater functionality and more integration with smartphone and app technology.
The company will also be promoting its VDO Fleet Visor which assists with vehicle tracking, tracing and route planning, as well as the VDO TIS-Web 4.8 and VDO TIS-Web Motion products.
Continental Automotive said these systems, which use smartphone technology, mean greater connectivity between the truck, driver and fleet manager, making it easier and quicker to comply with tachograph legislation.
- The CV Show takes place at the NEC on 25 –27 April and pre-registration is now open.
