Two new Deker Maxidek ENXL double-deck trailers have entered service at Boston, Lincolnshire-based UK and international haulier George H Kime & Co. The family-owned business, founded in 1930, will use the two trailers to support its growing operations as a member of The Pallet Network.

The 52-pallet Deker Maxideks, supplied in January under a long-term contract hire arrangement by Allports Group of Lichfield, feature standard curtains lined with load containment nets to enhance load security and an aerodynamic rear bulkhead.

Based at the company's Sleaford site, they join several other Maxideks in Kime’s fleet, which includes three tail-lift equipped 3.5-tonne Renault Master Citiloader curtainsiders also supplied by Allport. The new trailers are all expected to cover around 75,000 miles a year.
