Denholm Environmental has added a Renault Trucks T480 High and two standard T440s to its fleet of 15 tractor units.
Denholm Environmental’s fleet operates between four locations in Invergordon, Inverurie, Grangemouth and Carlisle with a mixed fleet of 30 rigid vacuum tankers and 15 tractor units - 14 of which are from Renault.
The new trucks will be based out of the Grangemouth and Invergordon sites and will mostly be used for tanker haulage and waste management work.
Brian Ritchie, MD of Denholm Environmental said: “Business has been reasonable throughout 2022 and we have continued to invest in line with our ambitious growth strategy to meet future expectations. As part of our ongoing investment, we renew our tractor units on a five yearly basis regardless of mileage and condition to keep our fleet tidy and modern.”
The T480 High is fitted with Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels, roof-mounted twin air horns and six spot light bar. Inside the cab, the T High gets a microwave, fridge and comfort air conditioning. The T440 6x2s are fitted with heated “comfort” seat, air suspension and air conditioning, while all three vehicles have been specified with Eco pack including Optiroll and Optivision.
The new units have been supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland who will be taking care of the trucks on a full repair and maintenance contract.
