Direct Tyre Management appoints Michelin as its retread supplier

Direct Tyre Management (DTM) has appointed Michelin as its retread supplier under an exclusive four-year deal.

The agreement will see Michelin will supply about 20,000 Encore brand truck tyres a year from its factory in Stoke-on-Trent to the independent tyre management provider.

DTM provides tyre management services for hauliers including vehicles, service, maintenance and repair across its network of 36 service centres around the country.

Guy Heywood, commercial director for truck and bus at Michelin, said: “Encore tyres will allow DTM’s customers to benefit from UK-made, high-value, high-quality tyres built on high-quality casings that deliver excellent all-round performance.”
