Fiat E-Ducato specification and pricing announced

Fiat has confirmed UK specification and pricing for the new Fiat E-Ducato all-electric van.

A total of 28 different versions of the electric Ducato will be available with three body lengths and three roof heights as well as 3.5-tonne and 4.25-tonne gross vehicle weights and with panel van, passenger version and chassis cab variants.

Pricing for the van will start at £55,675 for the 47kWh battery pack and £68,175 for the larger 79kWh version.

Fiat claims the smaller sized battery will have a range of up to 108 miles, while the larger batteries will see the vehicle achieve as much as 175 miles according to the WLTP combined test cycle.

Maximum payload for the 3.5-tonne E-Ducato is 1,160kg however the 4.25-tonne version can transport up to 1,885kg while still being on a regular UK driving licence thanks to special dispensation given to heavier alternatively fuelled vehicles.

Power comes from a 90kW (122hp) electric motor producing 280Nm of torque.

The E-Ducato will be covered by a five-year warranty with, five years roadside assistance and five year servicing, as well as a separate 10-year warranty on the batteries.

Speaking about the arrival of the E-Ducato, Eric Laforge, Fiat head of LCV, said: “The UK is an important market for the E-Ducato, it is probably the biggest one, potentially, at the beginning.”

Order books for the new Fiat E-Ducato are now open and deliveries are expected to begin in May.
