Allison is offering operators in the construction sector a significantly enhanced warranty, free of charge, on its 4000 Series transmissions.

Vehicles ordered and supplied before the end of 2021 for on-highway use in construction, including tippers, skip loaders, hook loaders and concrete mixers, will benefit from five years of cover instead of the normal two.

The Allison Extended Transmission Coverage offer applies throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, and includes 100% parts and labour coverage with no mileage limitations, subject to the use of approved filters and lubricants.

Allison Transmission Europe’s director of market development, Sergio Camolese said “By extending to five years the warranty on the Allison 4000 Series transmission, we are reflecting the confidence held by our construction industry customers in the durability, reliability and performance of our products.

"Allison fully automatic transmissions are proven and insisted upon in the most severe construction applications where their benefits over automated manual transmissions (AMTs) are well understood by construction OEMs and operators. We aim to improve awareness of the benefits of Allison Automatics among the EMEA on-highway construction vehicle sector.”
