Customer demand and a strong performance in 2015 has prompted GBA Services to buy 22 new Krone trailers.
The Lancashire operator placed the near-£500,000 order after turnover increased 37% last year.
The order includes 10 dry liner box trailers, 10 curtainsiders with sliding roofs and two twin evaporator fridge trailers.
The trailers will work for customers across Europe.
Operations director Peter Zak said: “This purchase represents significant investment for the company, but is justified by the increase in new business.
"Our vision for the future includes growth in our time-critical, pharmaceutical and high-value logistics sectors, all of which will be supported by this investment.”
