Hireco has placed a £13.5m order with long-standing supplier SDC for 750 semi-trailers. The rental firm, which has on its fleet more than 5,000 trailers and generated a turnover of £20.9m as of February 2016, will take the first delivery at the end of this month.
SDC MD Mark Cuskeran (pictured) said the latest order is a continuation of an outstanding relationship with Hireco. “We’ve been working with Hireco for almost 20 years and are delighted to share in this announcement,” Cuskeran said."We’ve watched and hopefully helped contribute to the success and growth of this outstanding company,” he added.
Hireco director Ricky Graham said: “Over the past few years we have invested millions of pounds into our business.”
