Commercial leasing and finance firm Hireco says strong partnerships with its haulier customers have been a “critical factor” in its year-on-year growth.

With more than 40 years in the industry, Hireco is intent on working closely with fleet operators to discover what they are looking for from a partnership.

“In each of our partnerships, there is always something different we offer,” said Chris Heather, UK sales manager at Hireco.

“We ensure every solution is focused on meeting the business goals and strategies which have been a critical factor to ensure growth year on year.”

S&R Smith & Son Logistics, which delivers fast-moving consumer goods for multiple brands across the UK, operates 120 trailers through Hireco
“Since the start, Hireco have been a tremendous support to our business,” said Lee Smith, the third-generation owner of S&R Smith & Son Logistics.

“I can rely on them year on year to supply us with brand new equipment, to our specification, on a contract hire solution tailored to suit our business model.”

Heather added: “We take responsibility ensuring their fleet is always at peak performance. Not only through our strong service and maintenance provision, but also through identifying older equipment and smoothly replacing it with new.

“This takes the hassle away from disposal at the end of the term.”

Hireco operates more than 7,000 assets around the UK and Ireland and has a customer base ranging from smaller owner-operator businesses to multinational 3PLs.
