IVECO has made two new appointments to its senior team; Gareth Lumsdaine as truck business line director, and Mike Cutts as LCV business line director. Both will be based in Basildon at IVECO’s UK headquarters and will help bring Iveco’s new products to the fore.
Lumsdaine was Renault Trucks’ network sales director for 18 months before joining. He also worked for Suzuki GB for over 10 years as general manager of dealer development, and as sales and marketing manager for the company’s marine and all-terrain-vehicle business.
Lumsdaine stated: “I’m looking forward to working with a fantastic network of dealers as we prepare to bring the new IVECO S-Way into the market early next year.”
Cutts has spent 15 years working within the automotive sector, and has been employed by the likes of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Vauxhall.
Starting out in fleet marketing, he moved into fleet sales management before taking up corporate account manager roles and a national rental position. Before joining the Italian manufacturer, Cutts worked as Pod Point’s head of sales for homecharge, fleet and leasing in the electric vehicle market.
Cutts stated that following his appointment, he “was excited by the opportunity to join IVECO and take responsibility for New Daily MY2019 in one of the brand’s major European markets.”
