Jost King Pin Finder unveiled at IAA

Jost added to their evolving product line-up with a new live-feed fifth wheel coupling system called King Pin Finder.

In addition to demonstrating its KKS automatic coupling system and displays of its lightweight JSK 34 fifth wheel and Modul E-drive landing gear, the King Pin Finder is the latest assistance system to help coupling.

A camera integrated in the fifth wheel coupling sends images directly to the cab’s dashboard allowing the driver to manoeuvre on to the fifth wheel more easily and adjust the unit’s height. It is said to make the coupling process considerably easier and helps prevent accidents and damage to the fifth wheel coupling and king pin – as well as the truck and trailer.
