Krone Coil Liner trailers for Helsby and Longden

Runcorn-based Helsby and Longden has taken delivery of six Krone Coil Liners as part of its strategy to gain a larger share of the steel transport market.

The Coil Liners come with the manufacturer’s multi-lock load securing system, with up to 130 strapping points along each side rave, enabling mixed loads to be safely secured at any point along the trailer.

Straps can be accessed from inside as well as outside the curtain. General Manager at Helsby and Longden Simon Keane said: “Flexibility is key to providing an efficient transport service and that’s why we specified these Coil Liners.

"Not only can we increase our presence in key steel areas such as Deeside, Liverpool and Ellesmere Port, but we can also use the same trailers to carry mixed loads, groupage and low-hazard goods.”
