This is the first photograph of what is believed to be Scania’s new truck, albeit in scale model form.
The image, which appeared on Dutch website iepieleaks.nl last weekend and has since gone viral, depicts what is presumably a promotional model commissioned by the manufacturer.
Although prototypes have been photographed on European roads for the past 18 months, this is the first time we have seen the new truck without its camouflage, and confirms that the next-generation Scania will feature a new cab.
The truck will be launched on 23 August and streamed live at nextgenscania.com.
