Montracon is releasing the MT39 3-axle range to compliment the long-standing MT45 fixed bed machinery trailer launched in 2017.

The trailer maker claims that the MT39 will speed up loading and unloading as it comes as standard with a 500mm deck to neck height double taper goose neck.

This trailer also offers a 10 degree gradual neck and beavertail slope, and the option of clip-on or hydraulically powered lead-on rear ramps. Retractable legs at the rear and side and deck lashing rings are a few examples of the pre-designed options on offer.

Dean Ridgill, Montracon’s marketing manager, said: “We designed this trailer off the back of feedback gathered from the MT45 – many customers didn’t have the need to carry heavy duty plant equipment all of the time – hence why the MT39 was created.”

Companies are now able to use the MT39, Ridgill added, to transport scissor lifts and lighter equipment with a trailer tailored for that specific task.

“While it’s good to have a trailer that is able to carry heavier items, such as the MT45, not all customers want that, so we reacted to customer demand and created a more specific product,” concluded Ridgill.

Currently there are six MT39 units in production and the new product should be on the road in the third quarter of 2019.
