More than 500 exhibitors to make CV Show 2017 bigger than ever

The 2017 Commercial Vehicle Show will be bigger than ever, with over 500 exhibitors expected to attend, filling halls 3A, 4 and 5 and already taking up a large part of Hall 3.

Vehicle manufacturers will be well represented, with Daf and MAN taking large stands and Iveco dealer Guest Trucks flying the flag for the Italian marque.

There will be light commercials on show from a recently resurrected LDV, market leader Ford, Citroen, Fiat, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota and VW.

“The show is already bigger than 2016, with Halls, 3, 4 and 5 are almost sold out,” said show director Rob Skelton.

“A lot of the growth has come from regular exhibitors taking bigger stands and more trailer builders taking space for the first time.”

Trailer manufacturers at the show include Cartwright, Don-Bur, Gray & Adams, Lawrence David, Montracon, SDC and Tiger Trailers.

The show is being billed as the place to do business, as research among last year’s 21,000 visitors showed that the majority are there to buy products or services.

“There are numerous business reasons to attend the show,” said Skelton. “The CV Show provides real business benefits and is not for tyre kickers.”
Innovations for 2017 include two Twitter lounges – cafes where visitors can relax over a coffee and read tweets posted using the hashtag #cvshow2017.

Free visitor registration opens on 9 January.
