Scania has completed the redesign of its basic cab line-up by introducing the new P-series that combines its traditional low-mounted format with larger windows, thinner A-pillars and a lower vision line from the reshaped dashboard to give enhanced visibility.
A wide variety of cab dimension permutations will ultimately be able to provide three internal lengths, 1,400mm day cab, 1,700mm extended and 2,000mm sleeper, with low, normal and Highline roof heights but at the launch, choices of the lightest and most compact iteration of Scania’s modular cab family will be limited to a low day cab, low and normal extended cabs and the full trio of sleepers.

That means the six P-series cabs available are CP14L, CP17L and CP17N, as well as the three sleeper options of CP20L, CP20N and the CP20H with Highline roof.
P-series production will commence in January 2018, and will be available across the full range of rigid, tractor, construction and XT models. A variety of internal and external locker options should address most storage needs.
