The organisers of the CV Show, which takes place at the NEC from the 24 to 26 April, have issued a warning about a scam currently doing the rounds that offers a fake attendee list in exchange for payment.

Sent from the email address it reads:

“Subject - Attendee list of CVO 2018.

Available Counts: 17520

Let me know if you are interested and I will get back to you with pricing model.

Regards, Natalie Parker, on-line marketing manager”

A spokeswoman for the CV Show said in response to the email: “Yes unfortunately one of many scams going around this time of year. It's eight years since we did the operator show! We carry a permanent warning on our website for that reason.”

CM would like to add that we will publish the CV Show 2018 official show guide - listing all the exhibitors - in the 19 April issue of the print magazine.
