Two Tevva 7.5t battery electric trucks have recently completed a return road trip to IAA Transportation 2022 in Hanover, Germany, from the manufacturer's London base.

The vehicles travelled from the UK to Germany and back - approximately 1,000 miles per truck -  making a couple of overnight stops.

Tevva said the journey was a milestone achievement and demonstrates the technology's durability and reliability over long distances.

It has documented the trip in a new video created from footage captured during the drive and framed by an interview with Tevva chief engineer Ken Scott.

This shows that the journey was not without challenges, such as navigating the limited amount of charging infrastructure for large EVs.

However Tevva said with the help of development partners and tenacious planning, "we highlighted both the reliability of our products and the automotive knowhow that underpins their engineering excellence".
