Recovery bodybuilder and rental company Recovery World has added its first ever Isuzu 13.5 tonne recovery truck and a further 20 new Isuzu 7.5 tonne recovery trucks to its nationwide rental fleet during 2022. The 13.5-tonner is still yet to hit the roads, but the 20 new N75.190 E vehicles with day and crew cabs have a mixture of slidebed, low slider, and twin deck recovery bodies.

The new units will be used in the rental fleet making either single or multi-vehicle deliveries and collections.

The Isuzu F135.240 13.5 tonne recovery truck will be fitted with a RW60 6 tonne steel slidebed body, and this vehicle is due for delivery into the Recovery World fleet before the end of the year.

“With Isuzu, you always know what you will get. It’s a great recovery truck specification, the nationwide dealer network backup is there when you need it, and the ITUK customer CARE operation is absolutely outstanding, ensuring that our vehicles perform to their maximum at all times,” said Mac Engledew, director, Recovery World.

“With over 21 years of practical experience running Isuzus in our fleet, we really do appreciate the amount of technical support that is provided by ITUK to us. Communication at all levels is first class and we always get answers to any questions we ask. As an operator, our vehicles are running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so it is vital that we have our truck fleet operating with maximum efficiency and this is where the Isuzu trucks, with their industry-leading payload and proven reliability, totally lead the field,” he added.
