Renault Trucks increases bodied range with new Trafic van variants

Renault Trucks has added three new ‘Red Edition’ Trafic vans to its range.

The new additions include a caged dropside van, aimed at construction, municipal and rubbish clearance with a 850kg payload and caged side, or with 950kg payload without. The dropside comes in an L2 wheelbase length with an H1 cab and is powered by a 150hp engine that’s mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. It can be ordered with both a cage body or as a standard dropside.

A new chilled van has also been added to the list of bodied solutions from Renault Trucks based on the same wheelbase as the caged dropside model but with refrigerated body with moveable bulkhead for dual temperature operation. The new model can be had as a freezer unit or dual compartment and has a payload of between 865 and 1000kg depending on configuration.

Lastly, a Roadtrip campervan option with electric retractable roof system and a four-berth sleeping layout joins the line-up. Buyers also have the option of swivelling front seats, toilet, onboard electrics, fridge freezer, solar panel, induction cooker and a side awning, built on either an L2 or shorter L1 chassis.
