The Rockery Centre is to add an Isuzu 7.5 tonne dropside to its fleet replacing their very first 08-registered Isuzu truck.

The Bedfordshire-based company has opted for an Isuzu N75.150 (E) medium wheelbase rigid with Searle dropside body and a rear mounted Fassi F50A crane to help with the loading and unloading of heavy bulky materials.

“The arrival of the new Isuzu does mean that, sadly, our original Isuzu is now going into semi-retirement and will probably only be used as backup for busy times. Its unbelievable service over 13 years is why in 2021 we are still only using Isuzu for our delivery vehicles,” said Matt Lansley, from The Rockery Centre.

“Isuzus just get better and better with age, and specification-wise they have come on such a long way since our very first one. The latest 7.5 tonne 2021 specification ticks all our boxes, from its unbelievable carrying capacity of 3.2 tonne, right through to its compact footprint, which makes it ideal for residential deliveries especially on the smaller housing estates where access is limited,” added Lansley.
