Sava Tyres is targeting hauliers looking for greater payloads with its launch of the Sava Cargo 4 HL trailer tyre.
The tyre has 5,000kg load capacity, allowing 10 tonne axle loads to meet the increasing permitted weights in Europe. It also carries the M+S marking, qualifying it as a winter tyre in Europe.
The tread has six wide ribs with zig-zag pattern grooves, for high mileage and resistance, and good braking performance on wet and dry road surfaces.
The 385/65R22.5 tyre has load ratings of 164K/158L and boasts a ‘B’ grade in fuel economy and a ‘C’ grade for wet grip.
Marc Preedy, commercial director at Sava Tyres parent Goodyear Dunlop UK, said: “The ability the new Sava Cargo 4 HL 10 tonne trailer tyre gives to maximize payloads coupled to the low fuel consumption this tyre offers, means increased profits for operators.
