SNAP wants to reward HGV drivers who have gone “above and beyond” in recent weeks.
Via its Trucking Legends initiative, the truck parking provider is looking for both drivers and fleets who deserve recognition for the part they have played during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Haulage industry workers can nominate their Trucking Legends via SNAP’s Facebook page, throughout the month of May, putting them in with a chance to win a care package and a free week of SNAP parking. The care package includes one month’s credit with audio book provider Audible, cleansing wipes, energy bars and coffee.
To nominate a driver or fleet, simply send SNAP a direct message or comment on its Facebook post, stating your reasons why they deserve to be a Trucking Legend. Please also include their name, location, company details and any other relevant information.
“We hope that Trucking Legends helps to give the haulage sector some much deserved recognition,” said Mark Garner, SNAP’s MD. “The transport industry continues to grow in importance, and we wanted to thank the haulage community for their efforts in ensuring that essential services such as supermarkets and pharmacies have remained stocked and able to operate.”
