Tim Peake set to make an appearance at ITT Hub 2020

Tim Peake, the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station, will give a speech at the ITT Hub 2020 during the FTA’s Future Logistics Conference.
Due to take place on 13 and 14 May in Farnborough’s International Conference and Exhibition centre, ITT HUB 2020 will see Peake address themes affecting the transport sector.
The Hub will host over 60 sessions take place and over 150 speakers informing more than 6,000 industry professionals of the four major challenges facing the transport sector; future data, future business, future vehicles, and future communities.
Peake was selected because FTA director of UK policy, Elizabeth de Jong, said: “it seems only fitting that we set the tone for the event with a speaker whose experience is from the epitome of future transport – space.”
“We are thrilled to have secured Tim Peake, to share his experiences and challenge the way that logistics, public transport and technology operates, both now and in the future. It promises to be a stimulating and thought-provoking session,” she concluded.
