Over the weekend, the Royal Windsor horse show was on the brink of being cancelled due to torrential rain. Fortunately, Philip Judge International - one of Europe's leading agricultural suppliers - stepped in.

Philp Judge International has over 20 years of experience within its field, and has a fleet of seven low-ride-height purpose-built flat loaders to carry out its work across the UK and Europe.

Philip Judge said he got a late-night call regarding the Windsor Horse Show's dilemma, and simply couldn't say no, especially after stewarding at previous shows.

Judge's five Scania and Renault drawbars supplied straw, which was used to cover the saturated grass, stopping the many multi-million pound horse transporters from sinking into the mud.

"It was a big deal," Judge said, "as many of the horse boxes were from "all over the world, including Oman, Dubai and Azerbaijan."

After the straw was laid, horses and their owners could continue to take part in the Pageant of Equestrianism. This included the Kings Troop and the Household Calvary.

As a result of the haulier's efforts over the weekend, Judge said he was "shocked and emotional" when he was rewarded with the Geoffrey Cross memorial shield for the firm's hard work.
