A pair of new Renault T High 520 tractors have been purchased by Argyll-based temperature-controlled fish haulier Inverdell.
The Renault trucks, which replace two three-year-old Renault T520s, are being used to trunk between the Cowal Peninsula and Larkhall, from where the produce continues its journey elsewhere in the UK, Europe and other worldwide destinations.
Operations manager Catherine Pearman-Whyte, who also drives one of the new Renaults, said: “For such a big cab, the T High handles beautifully. Being that higher up helps with seeing ahead, and we also find the steering light and responsive.”
The pusher-axle tractors were supplied by Renault Trucks Scotland on two-year deals with full R&M through Renault Trucks Financial Services.
“Service and support were the main reasons for returning to Renault Trucks Scotland,” added Pearman-Whyte. “Dealerpoint manager Gordon Heeley and his team also take care of the six weekly inspections.”
