Zenith Trailer Rentals has added 100 new trailers to its fleet after turning to Schmitz Cargobull for the first time.

The new S.KO Pace Smart semi-trailers have been added to the fleet in order to support customers across the UK and were chosen for their durability as well as the short lead times being offered by Schmitz Cargobull UK after production was ramped up at their Manchester facility.

Phil Rodman, MD at Zenith Trailer Rentals, said: “We have more than 7,000 trailers on our fleet, but this is the first time that we have worked with Schmitz Cargobull.

“Of course, we’ve always been aware of Schmitz Cargobull products and a combination of their strong reputation for building quality assets, and a proposal that exactly matched our requirements in terms of availability and specification meant they were a natural partner for us when it came to expanding our fleet.”

The new Zenith trailers will be in operation seven days each week, primarily with parcel companies.

Rodman added: “Ordering a trailer that’s built in the UK certainly has its advantages, particularly at a time when parts are hard to come by. Aside from the quality and long-term benefits that the semi-trailers offer, we were also impressed that Schmitz Cargobull could meet our demanding lead times.”
