• Newton Luck Steel Tipping Trailer - The Lightest Steel Body Trailer in the UK Market • 76 cuyd - Hardox steel body on Hardox steel step frame chassis • 5 mm Hardox Floor - single piece full length - no joins for strength • 4 mm Hardox Side - laser cut and laser welded - single sheets full length with no joins for strength • Hardox rear door  • 50:50 barn door with pneumatic door locking mechanism with 5 hinges • Triaxle on air with a front lift axle  • PM OnBoard weighing system • Front Catwalk (UK NS drop) • Landing legs aluminium LG • Dawbarn manual net system Split 50:50 front wound from the ground • Benefit of Buying This Trailer • There has been an evolution in steel body construction and this is really the leading edge of that evolution. Newton have been searching, trying, evolving this trailer type since 2007.  This trailer weighs 8.2 tonnes without compromise. We can even make variants of same volume down to 7.6 tonnes but then you will need to be more cautious in the operations.  • This trailer uses full Swedish steel in floor, sides, toprail, ribs, front headboard and door. It even uses it in the chassis construction. The advantage of these steels is their extreme hardness. However hardness makes the material difficult to bend and form and work with. Luck press and use up to 12.5 meter lengths of Hardox steel and press and form it into shapes. Few others have this technology.  Luck laser cut the material and even laser weld it. This produces hundreds of meters LESS welding in the trailer than the UK competition. Why is this important you ask?  Because wherever you weld high grade steels you change the strength of the steel - for the worse. So imagine all those ribs in a UK trailer - say 20 ribs - each with 2 welds - then 8 panels all welded. These are hand welded which turns the Hardox to butter (well not butter but you know what I mean). So when you buy a Luck from Newton you are buying a technological triumph of Hardox shaping. When you buy our competitors product you are buying degraded steel. That is how Luck can deliver huge payload wins for you and even be stronger at the same time. Some customers are achieving 2.5 tonne payload wins - or £60.00 per day earnings. So buy a Luck or regret it.Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gB6y2tk7Qgo
