Bodies used for carrying round timber (logs) are fitted to both vehicles and trailers. With no floor the timber is supported on cross members and held in place by upright poles. Many timber vehicles and trailers are fitted with a crane to facilitate self loading and tyre pressure adjustment systems to aid traction when working in forestry environments.
