Used Daewoo Avia trucks for sale

Originally aircraft manufacturer Avia, truck production started in 1947 at its plant at Letnay near Prague Czechoslovakia. The company was privatised by the Czech government in 1995 and sold jointly to Austrian truck manufacturer Steyr and the South Korean company Daewoo and renamed Daewoo Avia. Work began in 1997 to produce the Avia D series which was designed at the Daewoo engineering centre in Worthing UK with engines from Cummins in Darlington. In 2005 the Steyr/Daewoo holdings in Avia was sold to a Czech investment company and in 2006 the Daewoo Avia brand ceased.
