Seddon Atkinson was a manufacturer of trucks based in Oldham, England. As well as its general haulage vehicles, its robust rigid chassis was well suited for municipal vehicles including dustcarts and construction vehicles. In 1990, Seddon Atkinson became part of the Iveco Group, who in 2004 closed down the Oldham manufacturing plant and moved production to Spain. Low sales led to Iveco ending production of Seddon Atkinson vehicles in 2006, and in 2009 the brand was discontinued.
